We’re offering a $1,000 scholarship to eligible HS seniors, current college and graduate students in an effort to give back and also promote sleep awareness.

Eligibility And Application Requirements

  • Applicants must be current high school seniors attending school in the United States OR current college students already studying at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution
  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens
  • Applicants must be anticipating completion of high school diploma at time of application or already in possession of high school diploma / GED
  • Applicants must be planning to or already currently pursuing a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution
  • Applicants must be carrying a minimum 3.0 GPA currently or at the end of their senior year

REALTOR Good Works Foundation-WCAR

Good morning!  Attached, please find a copy of our 2017 Scholarship Application for WCS seniors.  The REALTORS® Good Works Foundation, a philanthropic arm of Williamson County Association of REALTORS® is pleased to make available to all Williamson County, Tennessee public high school seniors, the opportunity to apply to receive a $5,000 scholarship to use towards their higher education.   As a reminder, in 2016, we awarded $10,000 in scholarships to 2 deserving seniors in Williamson County.  We look forward to receiving many applications this year and awarding more students with assistance to further their education as the post-secondary level.


The completed application form should be returned to the Williamson County Association of REALTORS®, to my attention, no later than Friday, March 31, 2017. In addition to the application, the following items must be included in your packet (your application will not be considered without all of the items requested):


  1. High School transcript (a sealed copy from your high school must be in your packet, the seal cannot be broken). Immunization records are not needed.
  2. A minimum of 2 letters of recommendation from individuals involved in your school, work or outside activities.


Once all packets have been received by the Williamson County Association of REALTORS® office, the 2017 Scholarship Committee members will meet to review all scholarship applications. At that time, candidates will be selected for personal interviews conducted by a minimum of 2 committee members.


If selected as a candidate for interview, you may be asked to provide proof of household income in the form of a FAFSA application and/or 2016 tax information. The interviews will be scheduled after school hours in Mid-April. Once the interview date & time is accepted by you, it cannot be rescheduled. If you cannot make your scheduled interview time you will forfeit your opportunity and the next candidate in line will be contacted. Once all interviews have taken place, the Committee will select the scholarship recipient. Recipients are selected based upon their academic achievements, extra-curricular involvement, personal character, and financial need.


Additionally, for convenience, we have included the ability of the students to complete the application this year ON-LINE.  Please note, that all additional documents will still need to be mailed by the deadline in order to be considered.  The online application is available at the link below.

Hiram Masonic Lodge Scholarship

Hiram Masonic Lodge #7, located in Franklin, TN, has the privilege of offering scholarships to graduating seniors and current college, undergraduate and graduate students who live in our community. We are pleased to announce that in 2017 we will be awarding three (3) scholarships of $2,000 each.


Attached you will find a presentation letter and a copy of the scholarship application.  The application can also be found on our web site,, under the “Scholarship” link.

Cyberbullying-Experience Scholarship

Hello !


My name is James. My organization excited to tell you that we are offering a scholarship to all students who have experience with cyberbullying. We would love to make applications for this scholarship available to your students.


Eligibility Requirements


In order to participate in the scholarship contest, applicants must meet the following criteria:


  • Must be performed in the English language.
  • Word count between 800 – 1,000+ words.
  • Based on true life experience.
  • Preferably must contain some tips on how to stop cyberbullying.
  • Must not contain any offensive or harassing content.
  • Must not contain real names (characters that are shown in the essay).
  • Must be provided with the applicant`s full name and a valid e-mail address on a separate page.
  • Contest award: 1500$

2016/17 Rotary District 6760 Four Way Test Speech Contest Announcement

TO:  Interact Club Sponsors –  Franklin High School, Independence High School, Independence High School


Our Assistant Governor for our Rotary District announcing the Four Way Test Speech Competition.


The Franklin Noon Rotary Club will present checks to each school participating in the Speech Competition at the school level provided there are no less than three students participating.


Checks will be presented to First Place Winner – $250, Second Place Winner – $150, and Third Place Winner – $100.

The checks will be written directly to the students following competition at the school. Either I OR another Rotary Club representative will present the check to the student.

Be sure you let us know the date, time, and location – Room, etc. of the Speech contest.

First Place Speech winners will be invited to speak at the Rotary Club meeting to present their speech and will be extended an invitation to go to district, etc. levels. Kindly review the two attachments AND go to

University of Mississippi CLC Scholarship


This fall, the University will conduct its 33rd Chancellor’s Leadership Class (CLC), and we invite you to nominate one of the top student leaders in your school to participate.  The CLC meets weekly during ythe students’ freshman year and is designed to provide exceptional leaderships development opportunities for members of the class.  Approximately 90 student leaders will be chosen from the class of 2017 to participate in this exciting seminar.  In addition, CLC students will receive a $1,000 scholarship ($500 per semester) for their freshman year.

To be eligible, a student must be admitted to the University of Mississippi for Fall l2017 and have completed the Entering Freshman Scholarship Application.  If you would like to nominate a student leader from your school, please complete the online submission.  Only one nomination per school will be accepted.  We will be accepting nominations through March 15.

Regions Hampton Scholarship

In May of 2017, the Hampton Scholarship Foundation will be awarding college scholarships.  The scholarship awards are $1,500 per academic year for a maximum of four years.  To be eligible, a student must meet the following criteria:

  • be a high school senior
  • be a resident of Tennessee
  • have financial need
  • plan to attend an accredited college, university, or vocational/technical school on a full-time basis

William Henry Oliver Scholarship Program – East Nashville High School

The Alumni Association of East Nashville High School awards scholarships on a yearly basis to graduating seniors who are descendants of graduates of East Nashville High

The student must be a direct descendant of a graduate of East Nashville High, or a current year graduate of East Nashville Magnet School, submit a fully completed application by the deadline for applying and take part in a personal interview with the Scholarship Committee, on a Saturday in April, 2017.

If you fit this profile, please to to the website and download an application, submit same and put themselves in competition for a one-time award that is normally $2,000 payable to the school where they will be attending in the fall of 2017.  Last year we awarded fourteen $2,000 scholarships.
