2018 Angie Tillman Nursing Scholarship
Graduating high school seniors who live in Williamson County are encouraged to apply for the Angie Tillman Nursing Scholarship, which awards one student pursuing a degree in nursing with a $10,000 scholarship. The recipient will receive $2,500 each year for four years, as long as he or she maintains the academic eligibility requirements.
To qualify, students must be graduating high school seniors with at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average and a Williamson County resident, a dependent of a WMC employee or a WMC junior volunteer. The scholarship is awarded contingent upon proof of acceptance into an approved nursing program in Tennessee. Entries for the nursing scholarship must be postmarked by April 15, 2018
The scholarship is given by Williamson Medical Center’s Volunteer Auxiliary in memory of Angie Tillman, who volunteered for 22 years and donated nearly 15,000 hours of service to Williamson Medical Center.
